Sunscape Spa & Resort (previously known as the Holiday Inn) still has the same owners but many new changes. They completed resurfaced the pool area, redesigned the lobby, redid all the plumbing and wiring in the 9 story hotel complete with new flooring and drywall.  The 18 floor Sea River tower is a mixture of ownership with approx. 60 private/individual owners from all over the world, some condos owned by a time share company, and the remainder owned by the hotel owner.

2016-2017 has seen millions of dollars of investment and changes at Sunscape Spa and Resort. Management has created a new look, painted the ocean side of the hotel white and is currently remodeling the back side.
